Concert scandinave dans le tram ! - Atelier Nordic Addict

Af Scherp is a swedish author and compositor of every kind of Pop and Folk. He went in France last November to participate in the Festival Les Boréales in Normandy. He played in Bayeux, Caen and even in Paris. He already played in France by the past and he’s sure to come back (he hope soon, and us too !). We had the pleasure to see his show in the Tramway in Caen (line between Caen and Hérouville st Clair).
At the end of the show we wanted to ask him some questions which he answered.
The idea of the concert in the tramway was Les Boréales crew’s ones. He found this interesting but he wouldn’t do this again because it was hard for him to work in this condition, the sound was not so good and he had’nt the gear he use usally at disposition (for exemple the pedals for the guitar). Despite these convenients, he has no regrets and he found this really cool !
For the path, he started the music as drummer at the age of 5, then years later he study at some music schools. He spend 3 years at Stockholm, then & year in Los Angeles then again 3 years years in Stockholm where he studied music. He didn’t compose so much by the past, for him, composing, wrinting and singing is something he does « on the side ». But he actually do this more seriously.
He just released his third album, called I Woke Up whiwh he try to promote as good as he can. You should listenning to this (on Deezer for exemple) and spread the word !
